Political Prognostications

No, I do not refer to them as my PP.  That would be juvenile, which is just funny as hell, and therefore not a serious form of humor.

Bernie – He’s struggling to bring in the win in the south like I thought he would.  He’s not losing by much, however, which is better than I expected.  I think Bernie, irrespective of his socialist leanings, has greater appeal, but Hilary is far better at the political game.  Bernie will win hearts and minds but Hilary knows the right people in the room.

Donald Trump – He’s doing better than I hoped, better than I thought, and still a threat.  The GOP is falling fast and it is rapidly coming down to just a couple of candidates.  I could use that shark I mentioned.

I chose the Shorter Whitman because of his work, "Song of Myself" and because of my self-deprecating sense of humor. I am under no illusion that I can write successful essays or poetry, but I have been known to write them anyway.

  1. Sanders will let people know it’s a sham. He wins the votes but looses in delegates. Unelected super delegates are a travesty in a ‘Democratic’ party. Of course he is not a Democrat. Will the Democrats add a third candidate? Somehow? I suspect so. Hilary has the nomination but is despised.

Trump will win in the Republican nomination despite not being a Republican.

I plan to dig a fox hole and pop popcorn….

    1. I think that will be the greatest contribution of Sander’s run this time around, people will see the effects of super delegates and know just how much it costs to buy the presidency. I don’t see the Democrats bringing forth another candidate. They’ve spent the last 8 years grooming Hilary, Sander’s was supposed to be a joke.

Popcorn sounds good. A fully furnished bunker, also.
