Wow, the field for new school board trustees in Billings is looking pretty grim. I’m being slightly hyperbolic here, but only slightly, when I say that odds are looking good that our local children will be more likely to conceal carry than they will be able to study actual science or read certain books, all of which will be couched in terms like accountability, parent’s rights, etc. Masks, science, gender/sexual identity seem to be the hot button issues for the majority of the candidates. CRT didn’t make it in by name, but based on the responses of some of the candidates, they consider that an issue, too.
I’m in the process of checking out the candidates for my area. Here’s hoping…
