A 1500 percent increase in requests, followed by another 600 percent increase. To compare, say there were 100 requests, then 1500, then 9000. And really, this is just one avenue that government agencies try to keep surveillance on you. If the court denies their request, or a company like Google denies it, they might just buy the records from an authorized 3rd party and get the info anyway.
All the people worried about vaccines and microchips and meanwhile the ability to follow you anywhere has been in your pocket the whole time, freely accessible to anyone that wants it.(and this is just the most easily accessible form)
It’s not that your fears are unwarranted, it’s that you’re stupid enough to support conspiracy theories when the truth has been in front of you for over a decade.
I’ve been saying this for a long time, but you don’t have to worry about losing your freedoms and privacy to the government, corporations have been buying and selling it for years. And that folks, is why you push for a transparent, accountable government and regulated commerce.

The smoke from the fires is bad tonight. My wife was saying she hated it. I told her I liked it because it reminded me of a campfire smell, which I enjoy, but I didn’t actually have to go camping, which is even better. 🙂
I’ve always been conflicted about the notion that silence indicates consent, mostly, I think because I dislike the idea of being forced to virtue signal in an increasingly facile medium like social media. The idea that you have obtained something from me simply because I have not elected to say something at that time, in that moment, does not sit well with me. It’s a line drawn in sand, usually by someone else. I have no problem taking action when I think the situation calls for it, but I have real problems with other people making that decision for me.
But that’s me, and how I look at things means that I don’t typically rush to judgement, don’t join crowds and won’t usually give two f**ks about popular opinion. It’s possible I have authority issues.
On the other hand, in times like these, when I see what’s going on right now on so many levels, I’m perfectly fine with shouting from the damn rooftops. But you still won’t see me packing some sort of #resist hashtag on Twitter. So ?
