Does anybody know how much immigration is currently taking place? Between the shutdown, the phenomenal drop in travel options and the various shelter in place orders by many countries, you can’t expect much in the way of immigration right now. But, to be fair, I don’t have the numbers in front of me.
But, he did say it was to protect us from the Invisible Enemy. The same Invisible Enemy he was just encouraging people to go out and protest the rules that we’re using to protect us against. And, I guess it’s also to protect those Jobs for all Americans. I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen too many opportunities around for hiring immigrants, if they somehow actually got approved under the current circumstances…
Or maybe I got it all wrong, and what he’s actually outlawing is illegal immigration. OK, that makes more sense now that I think about it. Of course, I’m really curious to know why he didn’t do that the first day he was elected. He’s wascally, I tell ya. #1 Supergenius.
