This is a great write up on some of the corruption being revealed in our government right now. Read it if you can but I’ll sum up very bare bones here. They actually did more than this.
A couple of our congressional representatives who were privy to Intel on how bad this virus was going to be decided that rather than be honest with the American public, they would sell their stock prior to the crash. One member even had the foresight to then purchase stock in software that allows people to work remotely.
When challenged about this, their response was basically this – “It’s a coincidence.”
Had these people been honest, the American people may have had an extra week or two to prepare for both the stock market and the quarantine, but profit trumps duty.
