Right now in my feed I see a ton of memes and posts complaining how our response to the Coronavirus is just so much hype and no substance. Never mind that the US spent much of the first month and a half denying there was an issue even as parts of Europe and Asia were implementing emergency plans.
Since it is just hype, and all of this is just overblown nonsense, think of this as a good test of our preparedness.
At least we’ll know how well we’re going to handle a real emergency, what plans and systems are in place, to handle all the details nobody thinks about.
Hmmm. Maybe a bit of panic is now warranted.
