I liked this one. Of course there’s so much more to the situation than what it talks about. The word “free” should never have been used, for example, but the thrust of it is fairly accurate.

The truth is, we’ve been told many times we can have those things, that we should have those things. Some of these things have been discussed for almost a century. Considering all that we’ve accomplished, you have to question why it is that so many other countries can do what we cannot? Why do we continue to fail despite all our glory? After all, when you’re the richest, most powerful nation on earth, what exactly do you spend your money on?

The answer, of course, is making the rich that much richer, and this has been borne out over the last 60 years. The fear of those who worry that we will spend our money on these things instead of paying for corporate welfare, the military industrial complex and financial contract shenanigans is that we will somehow become less wealthy, less powerful by having healthy, educated and capable citizens. Or rather, they will not gain wealth and power as quickly should this come to pass.

Interesting.

So a little over 3 weeks ago I messed up my shoulder/arm. To combat the pain I was on a max dosage of 2 different pain killers plus a muscle relaxer. I was also using icy hot. My friend Deon Berube had some CBD cream that I used, which was surprisingly effective. I was able to back off on the amount of pain killers I was using. Unfortunately, every time I drive by a Taco Bell, my arm jerks the wheel towards the drive thru. Be very careful when using that stuff!
