Robert Reich on corporations

I enjoy Robert Reich’s thoughts on most things. I don’t always agree with his politics, but most of his stuff on economics is solid and does provide a great perspective on modern corporate and political policy. In addition to the video link I’m sharing, I recommend you grab a book by Hedrick Smith, which illustrates the historical changes that have occurred in the business and political realm since the 30’s and 40’s. You can find it here=> Who Stole the American Dream?

So, any way, here is Robert Reich illustrating to a bunch college students the basic thought processes behind corporate decisions. I’ll give you a hint, it isn’t for the best interests of corporation, it’s employees or the country that is based in.

I chose the Shorter Whitman because of his work, "Song of Myself" and because of my self-deprecating sense of humor. I am under no illusion that I can write successful essays or poetry, but I have been known to write them anyway.
