Good old Mitch McConnell. It’s not our 1.5 trillion dollar tax cut that is causing a budget crunch, it’s that dang Medicare/Medicaid!

No… What’s killing your budget is voluntarily decreasing your revenue while simultaneously agreeing to spend more. His excuse would be like taking a lower paying job and then buying a new, larger house that costs more per month, and then blaming the resulting cash shortfall on the increase in the electric bill…

Our economy has been growing since a little after Obama took office. It’s still growing quite well. Use that increase to balance the budget and pay the debt down, which is what you should do during these times. And you know, maybe figure out a few ways to stop continuous wars we’ve been fighting for the last 17 years, reduce our medical expenses so Americans don’t go broke trying to stay healthy and can afford to pay the taxes on the money they make being able to work.

Just a thought while you’re trying to figure out how to stretch that budget…
