Adam Purple’s Garden

I caught this link from Dubious Quality.  Adam Purple’s Garden of Eden

What strikes me most about this is the vision and effort of one person transformed urban decay into something beautiful.  Two decades of work created something organic in a concrete jungle.  And it was destroyed by the government in an hour.  Now, I’m not going off on an anti-government rant here, there’s more to the story than the Man getting you down.  That said, I do think there is a moral here, a parable that we can learn from.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

I chose the Shorter Whitman because of his work, "Song of Myself" and because of my self-deprecating sense of humor. I am under no illusion that I can write successful essays or poetry, but I have been known to write them anyway.
