Not much to report on the canine companion, she’s still at the vet. At this point, we are looking at having her leg removed. It’s not a 100% yet, as we need to ensure that the rest of her is doing OK, but that is what is looking to be the likely option. My wife went and visited her today and she was happy to see her. She was still a bit groggy from having been sedated for more x-rays. There is concern about her spine as she was not using her back legs, but the results came back pretty positive that it is likely just a combination of a displaced hip, swelling and pain.
Other than that, did you know that BB King once played a show where a string broke while he was playing. Rather than stop, he just kept on playing and singing as he re-stringed and retuned. That’s pretty impressive!
