Our choice of two bills in the Senate is… a surveillance state or a surveillance state. The one sets itself apart because it isn’t as bad as the other. Not exactly an endorsement.
And then Rubio sides with McConnell in saying that somewhere, someday, somebody might do something bad and we’ll know about it because we’re spying on you. Unless you don’t let us, in which case it’s your fault. Good thing I had no plans to vote for Rubio.
