At audiologists. Severe but not profound hearing loss. Missed the profound level by about ten points. One of the few times I am glad that particular appellation was not applied to me.

They use the word “resoundingly” to describe the vote “No”. I’m not a statistics guy, but even at 85% voter turnout, that doesn’t strike me as a resounding; more like a cautionary “O.K.”.
