This was the signing event I attended a few days ago. Jim was a lot of fun and a genuinely nice guy. I got to talk to him for a minute while getting my books signed. Turns out, he’s a big fan of the Castle television series, too.
At the signing of Cold Days with author Jim Butcher!
Popcorn, hot chocolate and watching The Nightmare Before Christmas with my family. Good times.
Zombie dinosaur for the win.
Smothered pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a fruit salad. Breakfast is served!
Things are fairly definite at this point with regards to the election, which is a good thing in that the waiting and wondering are finally over. Our elections haven’t solved the world’s problems, or even just those in the U.S.; our caused it all to come crumbling down, either. Barring the Mayan calendar being off a few weeks, the world won’t suddenly end tomorrow, so this too, is a good thing. For those whose candidate won, congratulations. I hope you take that enthusiasm and passion and continue to work towards making everything you voted for a reality, or nothing will change. To those whose candidate has lost, I offer my condolences but give the same message. Our nation will only truly fall the moment its people have lost their motivation and will to make it a better place.
Ha Ha! Scott nailed this one.
