Oh Lord was this a miserable moment in time!
I still firmly believe this, though the last several years have shaken that faith somewhat. But that’s the whole point of making it better today rather than waiting until tomorrow or whining about yesterday.
The 2nd piece in Daniel’s Christmas recital. This is a large portion of a Chopin Ballade that he has been working on for about 5-6 months. This is the first time I’ve heard it all together as one piece. Although he’s using the sheet music on this one, I believe he can play the majority of it from memory.
Daniel found out Thursday that he had an upcoming Christmas recital – on Sunday. 🙂 He had about a day and a half to put this short duet together with his teacher, Dr Lee Hancock.
Can somebody please digitally edit Under Siege so that Seagal is wearing this through the whole movie?

Look to history to get an understanding of the present and the future. When I was in school studying World War 2 the common question was, “How could ordinary people agree to let the government do those things?” The discussion inevitably led to trying to understand if it could happen in a “free” country like here.
